WVE participated in Work Truck Week – the largest Truck show in North America and would like to share the new upcoming technology for trucks, innovative trends in electrification, and the newest trucks that will be hitting showroom floors soon. WVE is enthusiastic and excited to learn all about the new developments regarding work trucks, pick trucks, truck parts, truck racks etc…

According to the Chief Engineer of Chevy’s Battery Electric Trucks, “GM is very committed to the sustainable future of GM and pays attention to GM Fleet customers’ needs.” Thus, GM announced the all new Silverado EV early 2022 and is expected to go on sale in 2023. We are able to peek into the future of our working environment with the Northsky Blue Metallic Silverado EV in this video. We also checked out the Ford E-Transit and F-series Trucks: F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid and the new F-150 Lightning EV. We acquired great photos and videos of a close-up look of the new F-150 Lighting, so all the tradesmen can get a feel for the interior working space and the environment without traveling all the way to the dealer or a crowded auto show.

Work Truck Week not only showcases new vehicles, but it’s also a great opportunity for truck manufacturers to pitch their innovative green energy technology for trucks or other work vehicles. High fuel costs, high pollution, and energy shortage; These are the problems all the tradesmen are facing right now, and the engineers are dedicated to designing new energy-saving and fuel efficient trucks to make our work easier. Therefore, Ford not only developed the full range of electrified work truck models, but they also developed the Ford Pro fleet management solutions.

The General manager of the Ford PRO charging department expressed that they provide the charging station for both the individual truck owner or the enterprise fleet management. They offer a whole range of charging stations from 11.5 Kilowatts all the way to 180 kilowatts. This is an energy solution provided to all tradesmen across delivery, telecom, utility, service, agriculture, construction, and property management industries. Whether you are small business owners or large global enterprises, they would be able to provide you with an electrified fleet as well as customized solutions.

During Work Truck Week, we also saw the new truck fleet solutions for delivery services and other purposes.
