Choosing a Drop-Down Ladder Rack

Why drop-down?

Lifting a ladder overhead is one of the most common causes of back and shoulder injury for trades. A drop-down rack brings the ladder down to waist height at the side of the van, so one person can load and unload without straining or climbing. For fleets, that means fewer injury claims and less downtime; for the technician, it means a faster start and finish to every job.

Single side or double side?

Single side carries one ladder and costs less — right for most electricians, plumbers, and HVAC techs. Double side carries two, which suits contractors running both an extension ladder and a step ladder, or crews of two.

Getting the fit right

Ladder racks are matched to your van's make, model, and roof height. A mid/high roof rack will not fit a low roof van, and a Transit rack will not fit a ProMaster. Confirm your roof height before ordering — or call and we'll confirm it for you.
