Mid roof and high roof share more equipment than you'd expect

A large share of Ford Transit shelving is built to fit both mid and high roof vans, since the shelving units do not reach the ceiling in either. Those products are labeled "Mid/High Roof" in the product name. Bulkhead partitions work differently: a partition is cut to match the roof profile, so a mid roof Transit partition will not fit a high roof Transit and a high roof partition will not fit a mid roof.

Wheelbase still has to match

Ford Transit mid roof vans come in 130" and 148" wheelbase. Shelving runs are sized to the cargo length, so a 130" wheelbase Transit takes shorter shelving than a 148". Confirm your wheelbase before ordering.

Where to start

Most Ford Transit mid roof upfits start with shelving on one or both walls and a bulkhead partition behind the cab. Ladder racks, flooring, and drawer storage are added from there depending on the trade. Will mid roof Transit shelving fit a high roof Transit?
Often yes. Many Ford Transit shelving units are built for both mid and high roof vans and say "Mid/High Roof" in the product name. Bulkhead partitions are the exception — a mid roof partition will not fit a high roof Transit because the partition is cut to the roof profile.

Will low roof Transit equipment fit a mid roof Transit?
No. Ford Transit shelving and partitions built for the low roof will not fit a mid roof Transit. The low roof Transit has noticeably less interior height and takes its own equipment.
