The City Express is a different vehicle entirely

The Chevrolet City Express is a compact van and the Chevrolet Express is a full-size van, and the two share nothing but part of a name. The City Express was a rebadged Nissan NV200 sold by GM through the 2018 model year, and it takes compact van equipment alongside vehicles like the Ford Transit Connect and Ram ProMaster City. Ordering full-size Express shelving for a City Express, or the reverse, will not fit.

A traditional American van, not a Euro-style van

The Chevy Express and GMC Savana are body-on-frame vans with a conventional hood and engine bay ahead of the cab, unlike the Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter, and Ram ProMaster, which are unibody Euro-style vans. The Express and Savana have sidewalls that curve inward toward the roof, and shelving is shaped to that profile. Equipment built for a Transit, Sprinter, or ProMaster will not fit an Express or Savana.

Wheelbase determines shelving length

The Chevy Express and GMC Savana are offered in a regular and an extended wheelbase. The extended version has a longer cargo area behind the rear axle and takes longer shelving runs. Confirm which wheelbase you have before ordering, since shelving is sized to the cargo length.
