Hello Work Van Professionals,
Recently we have been receiving a surge of questions about factory upfit rebates for new vehicle purchases.
This new incentive comes from large brands names (GM, Ford, etc) and are offered through participating dealerships.
An "Up-fit Cash Allowance / Assistance" is a new discount program that offers additional cash back for new professional who adds equipment on new work vehicle purchases.
These incentives usually vary depending on vehicle type, purchase, and the dealership involved.
The upfit costs covered depends on the dealership and vehicle type you choose. Generally, heavier duty vans or trucks offer more upfit assistance coverage.
Most upfit assistance incentives do not cover factory installs and this is actually a good thing because factory installs of interior van shelving or racks usually have inflated costs.
Most dealerships require a fulfilled invoice as proof of a completed out-of-house upfit service before the upfit assistance amount is paid.
I.E. Dealerships will ask for an official proof of purchase (an invoice) from the retailer or installer you are using to upfit your van. Our website will be able to provide the necessary
invoices when you order our products!
Be sure to ask your dealership about qualifying for this new incentive program!
